Welcome to Isaac Point Kennels. We are a small breeder Toy, Mini Rat Terriers and Pomeranians. We are not into breeding to make money or make ends meet. I have a full time job for that. I have a love for both breeds. I have done a lot of study on the rat terrier’s colors and use this knowledge to breed for color and size. I have many happy families from the west cost to the east cost with my puppies and they have become part of my family for life.
We have completed PLL testing on our Toy Rat Terriers. All our dogs are clear .
To me one of the greatest joy of breeding is seeing someone’s dream come true with a puppy that’s not only happy but healthy.
With so many puppies being born I would only ask that you check with the local dog rescues before asking about one of my puppies. Safe a life of a dog that just wants to be loved first. And if you don’t see a dog or puppy you want PLEASE take time and give some money to help them find a happy home.
Memphis Bell is a Service Dog.
We take great pride in our dogs and puppies. We keep all our dogs in our home with lots of play time out side after they have had their. vacs and health check up with our vet.
We start out with our new born puppies in a room with their Mom so she can have a peaceful place to take care of her new born puppies. New Mom can come and go as she please but we do not let any other dogs around the new born puppies. Mom gets extra puppy food to help her feed the new born. We feed her Grain free 4Health dog food in the area with her pups. I love and been using 4Health dog grain free food and have found that they start on their own between 3 to 4 weeks old. They will still nurse but will copy Mom at a young age. No mess.
We de worm the Mom to be before breeding her.
We start to worm puppies and Mom at 2 weeks old. We worm at 3,4,6 and 8 weeks old. Their first vaccines are giving by our vet at 8 weeks old.
Their last worming will be giving at that time during their health check up. We never take our puppies out of the house until they have their first vaccines.
All our pups are started on dog litter training.
All of our Rat terriers have their tails dock and dew claws removed at birth. Unless their birth weight is so small and I think they would do better health wise to wait until they are 4 days old and then only if they are in good health.
The other time is when a request for the tail not to be dock. Then we would need the puppy to be paid in full. This is non refundable so make sure you pick out the one you want and know you are not going to change your mind. When I have such request I will hold off docking the tails till the next day after birth but will remove the dew claws at birth.
