Your pups and dogs will enjoy having home made treats and you will never have to worry about a recall on your home made treats.
Cheese Bone Cookies
2 cups all purpose flour 1 1/4 cup cheese(any kind) shredded 2 garlic cloves(minced) 1/2 cup vegetable oil 4 tbsp water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine flour, cheese, garlic and oil. Knead well. Add water, if needed to form stiff dough. Roll out on floured surface to 1/2" thick, cut into fun shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are lightly brown. Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate in zip lock bag or airtight container.
1 lb finely ground raw liver 1 cup flour 1/2 cup corn meal 1 to 3 tbsp garlic salt
Mix all together and spread on a lightly greased piece of tin foil sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When done peel off tin foil and break into pieces to fit your pup/dogs size. Freeze in packages. Great for cool summer treats.
Dried Beef Liver (great for training)
1 lb beef liver Garlic powder 1 - 3 tbsp 1 large pot boiling water
Rinse beef liver well in cool water. Place beef liver in boiling water, add Garlic powder to water. Allow enough room in pot to prevent boiling over with water. Cook for at least 1/2 to 3/4 hours or until cooked well. Let cool then cut into 1/2" cubes. Spread on a foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degree for 2 hours or until dry to the touch. Liver will shrunk to about 1/4" cubes when done. Liver is very dry when done and can be stored in the freezer in zip lock bag. The liver treats will not stain your clothing and you can keep it in a small bag or your pocket for training.

1lb Turkey or chicken hot dogs
